Canadians just have this sense of entitlement that rather than working for minimum wage they would rather sit at home and collect welfare.

Right, which is exactly why I, a Liberal, set out on a mission to put myself through college to become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer...

Well hope you get to keep your job..

When Obama is elected those jobs are going to be inside the USA and done by U.S. Citizens under his protectionist theology.

Obama has made it pretty clear, scape NAFTA, bring jobs back to the USA, tax businesses and penalize those U.S. companies that continue to do business outside the USA, and regarding the environment... no more Dirty Oil from Alberta.

Don't worry, there are pleanty more illegal Mexicans waiting in line outside the plant to take their place. They busted a platicware plant just down the road from here a few years back. From talking to Paramedics that go there on calls, things haven't changed any. The employer pays the fines and hires more illegals.

Hopefully they will fine them under the new illegal immigrant law:

All South Carolina employers must either check each new hire's Social Security number through a federal online database called E-verify or hire workers with a driver's license from South Carolina or another state with strict requirements. Those found not checking their workers can be fined between $100 and $1,000 per worker. If an investigation finds they knowingly hired an illegal immigrant, the business can be temporarily shut down, for up to 30 days on first offense and five years if caught a third time.

I am an engineer and was asked by my provincial licensing body, just today, to report any abuse of the use of the title of engineer and there ain't no such designation for any professional engineering association on this planet that is associated with the maintenance of anything so cut it out.

Haven't you heard of Afro-Engineering? It is used quite extensively in maintenance functions! ROTFL
