I'm curious about why you would see regulations that protect the health of children as a bad thing

more regulations will not necessarily improve children's health.

Damn....when I saw nova posting on the topic I thought it was going to be about:

Tanning.... beating with a whip or strap or rope as a form of punishment
    (synonym) whipping, flogging, lashing, flagellation

Something both her and Brenda would surely be upset about....

Ok you guy's have me seriously stumped on this one. You are saying tanning parlors that could potentially cause a life threatening cancer in a child should have no regulation. That some dumb twat of a mother should have the right to take her 10 year old daughter for a tan because she thinks her daughter looks cuter with a tan.

Incidentally, that's the mindset that makes parents think their 10 year old needs to be tanning.

Of all the things that's wrong with Ontario, tanning beds and plastic bags would be really far down on the list.

I don't think banning stuff is the sole turf of the left. The right are just as good at it. It seems to be a common trend among politicians in general, to make a name for themselves I guess. The thinking these days is that if it makes us even infintessimally "safer" then it is completely justified. But every one of these bans is another shackle on our freedom.

    Please do give examples....

maybe the retards who run Ontario could hire all those out of work auto workers to inspect all those tanning booths and pick up plastic bags, for $36/hour.
