The Conservatives have softened their position on talking with the Taliban after a British general said that Western forces will never win against insurgents and negotiations may be necessary.

Taliban negotiations are about as useful as square tires. We should have never gone and should just pull out if this is what it's come to. Just pack up and move out. It's not worth another Canadian life if the Taliban will be allowed to take over again. But he's still Taliban Jack.

Mackay wants to negotiate, not assist the Taliban.

And the con's dont have terrorist sympathizers who are now banned from Canada coming to speak at their functions.

    Big difference.

Harper and MacKay more than likely bowing to political pressure going with the polls, they shouldn't but it looks like they have and honestly if that's the case then they don't deserve to be the Governing Power..

I posted this in another thread.

The talks with the Taliban should emphasize the necessity that they be annihilated.

That's a flaw I believe most people on this site have, I'll even admit I have.
