curfews, community programs... multiple short term solutions. Long term solutions have to change the values and customs of the community. There is simply no initiative by the government to intervene and help the people they're actually supposed to be helping.

If it was just the gang members killing each other then I really wouldn't have a problem with that because their too goddamn lazy to actually work at making positive changes for themselves. It's the fact that these assholes are shooting, killing and robbing innocents that pisses me off. There is a very realistic solution to the gang problems. In Hobbema and everywhere else. 'Our gang' (military) is bigger, stronger,smarter, and better armed & trained'!
