So people actually believe that the American Military's going to be used to suppress its own people? Just because they're buying up some bank stock doesn't mean they're becoming Russia. And honestly, one unit to suppress a country of >300mill, most of whom strongly believe in their freedoms as United States Citizens, HAH!
Also for a combat unit that's just been transferred out of an urban, occupation situation (and has a chance of being transferred back), where civilian casualties have been one of the major concerns in the conflict, good for them for looking into non-lethal alternatives.
