Lets see now, when was the last time I saw the media get this stupid before an election? Oh that's right it was the Alberta election.

Quick: Call Mary Walsh and her crack investigative team of CBC hacks.

I think we're beyond the saturation point where all these BS media smear jobs are starting to make the Liberals and their pet media look like fools. The CBC and Canadian media are shaming itself by this crap.

It was Harper that organized the photo-op, not the press. It was Harper who presented himself as some twisted version of Ward Cleaver, not the press.

If Harper is going to trot his family out into the public eye for political gain, then he should expect criticisms of his parenting skills.

Natchurly - you can substantiate this claim with a fact or two - yeah?

As pointed out elsewhere - your pathetic drivel is really, well, just more of the same. . . .

.. and in reflection, the Layton-Chow family didn't want kids because it would get in the way of their political ambitions?

Give it a rest and leave the families out of it.

Harper brought his own family into it:

With news cameras rolling, the prime minister walked his nine-year-old daughter Rachel to school Tuesday in a carefully scripted photo-op designed to bolster his fatherly image.

This is nobody's fault but Harper's.

I'm sure he would have given her a hug or a peck on the cheek but he didn't want to get the sicko Liberals all hot and bothered

the NDP were already droppin their drawers when they read this one.

Can't forget Layton and Chow's tenure in public housing either - great way to see how the 'other half' lives - all the while paying reduced rent - probably wouldn't have qualified for the subsidy if they had a child or more - god forbid, last thing this country needs are more social/commun ists. . . .

Layton's got two kids from a previous marriage. I doubt the decision not have more had anything to do with political ambitions. Nice try at a smear though...just because they don't trot their family out for photo-ops.

I am not even going to say what a bullshit story this is, and ask if the news has anything better to do with there time... Well I guess I just did, anyways.

All I gotta say is what does his parenting skills have to do with him as a politician?

"Omg, Look at that. Harper have his kids a handshake, his un-fit to handle world politics!"

"Jim, What does a handshake and politics have in common?"

"Uh... well... it just does because I made a bullshit article about it and I don't want to look like a idiot"

Yeah, but Harper still decided to trot his daughter out for a photo-op, Bacardi. The other leaders don't do that.
