The Liberals are stepping up their attacks against the Conservatives as poll numbers increasingly show the Tories heading towards a strong victory in the coming election.

Ignatieff should have expanded on that and said; 'economic crisis' if either Liberal or Conservatives win.

They are both corporate-whores and their proposed to corporate taxes cuts. (more breaks for their rich buddies, none for main street)

Better an "economic crisis"...under Conservatives OR Liberals...
than bankruptcy and third-world status under Dipper or Green
    "initiatives"....

I'd rather see 50 BILLION dollars give to family's rather than to rich corporations that are already flushed with tax breaks or incentives at the expenses of the middle class and poor.

I'm shocked, that the Liberals would try to take advantage of the economic crisis in the States.

Economic crisis is not just the United States... it's has already effected Europe and many Canadian banks.

What is the root cause of this financial crisis? Corporate excess and greed, bad management, obscene CEO salaries, all the while getting tax breaks at the expenses of the poor and middle class.

How do you think there is now vast a income disparity between the rich and everybody else. They don’t have to pay taxes like the rest of us, why, they’ll “invest” that “extra” money to create more low-paying jobs - Conservative Propaganda: The Trickle-Down Scam.

Free-trade agreements which make the rich richer and the poor poorer, good jobs that use to pay $32hr with safe working conditions, replaced with $9 to 17hr jobs where you are just another corporate commodity.

Wow, according to uwish Canadian families are now "commies". I love the ways Conservatives think, or rather the way they fail to think.

The economic crisis in the US is spreading. It's already cost Canadian banks a fair chunk of cash, and it's badly damaged our manufacturing sector. The price of commodities is dropping too. So much for Steve's plan to go back to the 19th century economics that had us as hewers of wood and drawers of water.

It's affecting Europe too, and China, of course.

What's the Conservative/Liberal plan? Why it's more of the same. Cut corporate taxes and give the CEOs raises while real jobs for real people disappear.

If Ignatieff had won the Lib leadership, I would be
worried. But he didn't. Lib's problem.
