A profile of notorious child killer Clifford Olson on the social networking website MySpace has been taken down, but there are still unanswered questions about how new pictures of the murderer came to be posted online.

Why is he coming up for parole if he has a life sentence?
I see the justice system in Canada is just as screwed up as Americas. LIFE should mean LIFE not 10,20,30,40,50.... years but LIFE as in till your worthless ass is dead.

It's apart of the law. A person is eligible for parole after a certain amount of their sentence is served regardless of the length of their sentence.

Of course, it doesn't mean they'll get it. Olsen's been trying for years, but they're no way in hell he'll ever be let out, except in a box.

Same with Charles Manson, still the cost to do a parole hearing is stupid.

Stratos- he gets a parole hearing because of what is called the "Faint Hope" clause. people who commit murder and other super heinous offenses should not get parole hearings if they are declared "dangerous offenders" it should be life without the possibility of parole.

Oh Clifford Olson, scored arguably higher on the "Psychopath" checklist than anyone else in the world.

It's an old story, but one wonders why this animal ever had
access to the outside world to the degree he has in the past,
..and doesn't he still get internet access and the ok to send
    letters out ?

It's most likely someone did it for him.

He's actually only spent 4 years of his adult life outside of prison. He considers himself the greatest Serial Killer of all time. Truly is a sick bastard.
