Children that young should be at home in bed. Parents need to do a better job.

Regardless of who 'did or didn't' handle their responsibilities, this is a tradgedy. Of course we have seen many like it in the past, and are likely to see more in the future. Kids will always do stupid things. My sympathies go out to all the family and friends who are affected by this. The kid is in an excellent position to help other teens right now. He has their undivided attention! It will be interesting to see what he does with this opportunity.

I really dont think any teens will listen to this kid, he and his friends will be on their minds for a month maybe two but things will go back to normal. The only people who will really change are the close friends and family of the people involved.

Sounds like the kids typeing all this to help cope with what happened instead of replaying it over and over in his mind he typed it out. Kind of a therapy thing for him maybe.
