    What a dumb/mean/illegal thing to do. I think this justifies my continued advocacy for teaching your kids that /b/ stands for "beatings".

    Why did she not use here gov email instead of unsecured yahoo account to send/receive potentially national security correspondence?

    To answer, I've heard it was supposed to save money, and I believe it was convenience too, basically the same reason I use my Hotmail account instead of my UWin account (University of Windsor).
    If it did or anything, I don't know, that's the justification for it

    You do know what a .gov email is don't you? Not a .gov@yahoo.com addy a .gov email. She does have responsibility to use it precisely because someone would try to hack it and it may not be some punk kid hacker either. The world is full of people who would love to do harm to the US so why does she need to be publicly humiliated to figure that out?

    Save money? WTF? We are talking about someone that is being groomed for the VP position not a fucking soccer mom.

    The article said;

    Palin has come under fire for using private e-mail accounts to conduct state business. Critics allege that she uses the account to get around public records laws, as the Bush administration has also been charged with doing.

    There was no evidence found in her account that she was using it as such. Ths issue here is a dramatic breach of privacy, not some unproven allegations of email abuse.

    Isn't the more important matter that Sarah Palin continually demonstrates herself to be woefully inadequate to the task of being the Vice President? Ultimately, it's sad that this is the Republican answer to the success that Hillary Clinton enjoyed during her run for the Democratic nomination. The Russians are right, Palin is a shrieking cow.

    While it is more important to the public as a whole to analyze Palin's qualifications for Vice President, I don't believe that criticizing an illegal attack on the woman to be insignificant. This isn't the thread you're looking for.
