The decision to withdraw the charges in this case was based on public interest considerations," Lt.-Col. Bruce MacGregor, deputy director of military prosecutions, said in a release.

    I'm guessing the caption should say 1995 since most of the Army was wearing CADPAT instead of OD green before 2005. That and he looks way younger in the first pic compared to the second which is dated 2002.

    They should have dropped the charges vs Pte Brown, he is a political prisoner. Matchee was the guy that tortured and murdered Arone, Brown reported it to the authorites. His mistake was doing it during Kim Campbell's election.
