    Are we then to be criticized for trying to make weapons that kill less and less civilians? It seems a bit shallow to criticize the military for this while our enemies continue to murder and butcher their own people on purpose.

    Shallow = Streaker.

    Didn't we already deal with this one?

    Glad to see the Canadian military taking all measures necessary to kill these bastards before they kill Canadian soldiers. (no matter the cost)

    So what do you want Streaker? Christ here they are doing everything possible to avoid collateral damage and you and your narrow mind can only make that assinine comment. You are impossible.
    Wait, here's your comeback, "We shouldn't be there..." well Earth to Streaker, we are, till 2011 if you have not heard, so deal with it J.A.

    Good for Canada. Wipe em out the quiker the better. I am still in favor of carpet bombing the whole place.

    Considering that the Americans are in the Maywan I could see these things being used more and more frequently. This is one of the many bonuses in working with the Americans; their long range toys tend to me much better then ours. Canada still rules in the ground war though, Americans like to use indirect and come in to mop up, while Canada used indirect only when they know direct fire will have little or no effect.

    Streaker will still bitch after we are gone.

    When the Talban start using children again as suicide bombers, or start beating girls going to school or more people start dying from dysentery due to the lack of infrastructure (due to insurgent attacks). Streaker will come on bitching about how Canada (with help from the Americans) turned Afghanistan into a shit hole. I suspect he will protest the Americans being in Afghanistan, pissing and moaning all the while, waving his "Infidels Out Of The Holy Land" poster.

    Squeeker would have the troops throw water balloons at the enemy, but then he'd have a shit fit about overkill if one of the water balloons hit a mud hut causing it to collapse.

    The mud huts are actually very sturdy, they can stop 5.56 easily and it can take up to two satchel charges to blow a wall. Still the best thing to take down a mud wall is a badger with a plow.

    Not shallow at all.

    What shallow, however, is your attempt to rationalise away the death of civilians at the hands of trigger-happy goobers and their "smart" weapons.

    How much confidence can I have about that statement when it comes from a guy who refers to the locals as "hadjis"?
