The first time Ryan Fentie smoked salvia, he was overwhelmed by the sudden, intense feelings that swept over him.

I've done salvia....It first felt like a drive in teh country, followed by the discovery of a carnival/circus, and then colours started spinning...

I tried salvia, and it made my halucinated that I was a Liberal back bencher cheering on Stephane Dion for not voting in parliment.

LSD is on a completely different level from salvia, but, that being said, I don't count myself as a particular expert on the subject. This is one of those issues where my Libertarian tendency to let people make their own poor choices conflicts with my desire for regulation of potentially dangerous chemicals.

EDIT: I would also like to note that I have some friends who tried salvia and seemed relatively fine afterwards, but I don't think anecdotal evidence is going to score any big points here.

Not much of a social drug, that's for sure - the one time I tried it I just wanted to lay in bed with the lights off in silence ... pretty trippy stuff though.
