They are in there right sense to do so, I mean if Pakistan send troops into the US to do a little of there own policing without permission from the U.S.

The U.S. would have dealt with the pakistan soldiers. However by the picture in this article, I should have invested in a U.S. Flag maker company, they are apparently selling at a rapid rate in the middle east. For there burning pleasures.

    Extra flammable material of course.

U.S. sent troops into another country without its permission to possibly kill some of pakistans citizens, what did you expect. Give them a pat on the back?

If American action can draw Pakistani troops to the border, then all the better. Many Pakistanis do not recognize that a border exists with Afghanistan, so it works both ways. There will be a border when both sides attend to it.

It's funny all the time while this is going on the US is chiming about Russia breaking Georgia's territorial integrity. Ah, the hypocrisy.

The Pakistani soldier's will get shot at by the Taleban, who dislike Pakistan's government and the Pakistani Army. It will be a 3 way battle. However, the US will not receive any pity when they catch their soldiers and maim them or strap them on the back of some jeep.

Pakistan wasn't much of an ally, more trouble than help came out of that country.

Pakistan's politicians are no different than any other politicians.

Different people have different priorities. Some are secretly pro Al Queda, some despise it, some are closet Taleban, some hate them, etc.

It is almost like America, some Americans were pro invasion of Iraq (Republicans) and some against (primarily many democrats and some true conservatives).

It really just depends on the overall political landscape that eventually determines what direction the nation will take as a collective mind. Pakistan is no exception. Musharraf was a US ally. However, many, even within his own circles, are pro taleban. Also, I'm not sure people are aware of Pakistan's internal problems.

Durand line? (A fine peice of colonialist seperation)
Western Provinces - Uncontrolled by Pakistan's army itself (this is what the US bombed).

    Totally agree Sock.

We all know the Pakistanis' have been aiding the Taliban but really, we need to respect borders or we are no better than the bloody Russians. Lets find other ways to sort this without providing fodder for the radical Immams at the Mosque.

Sometimes the yanks are so dumb.

You are all cut from the same cloth. If you took an extremist and flipped him like a coin, one side would be muslim, one side could be christian. Pick your side, they're both the same pile of shit.

I've known a lot of Christians in my life, not one of them wanted to kill anyone or hurt anyone. Not one of them hated a group of people because of who they were or what they believed.
