    Now I just hope the ANA can keep it safe. This will also help stabilize Kandahar, the more luxuries the people get the more trust they will have in their government. "Wow I can read the Koran at night now!" and who could forget “Sweet! I can have heat in the winter now! No more burning trash in an empty oil drum for this guy!”

    I just hope those Taliban don't destroy it, well what am I worried about. It's not like they know about it, or know where they took it... oh wait they read out news. Ouch!, good job news reporters.

    I bet you 20 dollars that they reported a simular story, except before the troops were moving it there which gave the insurgents a heads up.

    Nah it doesnt take much for Timmy Taliban to find out most things, which is why ISAF tends to keep everyone, including Civilains in Canada, in the dark about such things. Something that pisses Sneaker off to the extreme :lol:

    Against this stupid, reckless adventure in Afghanistan? You bet.

    Anti-Canadian? Not on your life, although it's interesting that you'd make that accusation, einsapper. It says something about your level of tolerance for differing viewpoints.

    This from a guy who calls Canadian soldiers "cowards" and "trigger happy" when it comes to defending themselves and their comrades in an enviroment he knows nothing about.

    Oh, stop your whingeing. You volunteered for this mess - no one forced you.

    There's simply no excuse for killing kids and civilians.

    OK Streak, you confuse us. Please state your position and clear things up:

    You trash the violence, then you will not acknowledge such deeds as this except to bring violence into the conversation;

    You claim to be 100% Canadian yet you applaud anything that the Taliban does:

    With your stance you appear to support an oppressive/brutal goverment who support terrorists;

    Do you concur with Jack Layton that we should negotiate with these people?

    Please clarify in an adult manner

    I don't applaud anything the Taliban do: I don't like thugs using and killing innocent people, including children (in case you hadn't noticed).

    Should we negotiate with 'em? Hamid Karzai seems to think he'll have to eventually.
