One of the companies I worked for had a Chinese manufacturer make us some natural gas valves. They coppied them perfectly, including the CSA and UL markings. They also sand cast the aluminum bodies so they were porous and leaked gas. The company had to buy about 1000 of those and they all were crap.
They can make some things well but this is one of the reasons I don't like doing business with fakes.

Ian Walker, of the University of Victoria, says Canada has the longest coastline in the world and more than 80 per cent of it is submerging due to rising sea levels. But even areas where the sea level is stable are at risk, he says, because of the greater frequency of storms, particularly on the Pacific coast.

What an expert. Did we Canadians know that 80% of our coastline is submerging? Does that include the tide? And even the 20% of whatever's left that is stable, isn't either... OMG.
That's like Eric Outhwaite saying the black puding was so black, even the white bits was black.

Since when are the sea levels rising anyways? I thought that was a washout too?

Shouldn't that be 100%? If all the oceans are connected theoretically one extra drop of water anywhere in the world's oceans should raise the level on every coast everywhere.
Or does coastline include lakes, ponds etc.?
