As they should be, Robert Dziekanski just shows how uncarring and impatient this nation has become towards immigrants.

You should speak English, don't expect any hand out from out government.

Canadians becoming more American every day.

Not really..this incident was regrettable, but completely atypical.

This is not what Canada insists upon, language is often of
little importance, especially with bogus refugee claimants,
and the 'hand outs' are a lot better than many other countries.
A bit more 'American' might be a way to keep out some undesirables,
although the Americans let in way too many undesirables themselves.

    of course they were scrambling.

It was illegal and wrong and a clear violation of their own use of force guidelines. That officer should be charged with assault causing death with a weapon.

 Anything to get you're BS line in, eh?

Gee, RCMP Brass, do you think officers entering the area arguing over who was going to tazer the guy might have been seen in a bad light?
I guess they learned nothing from the APEC protests, riots or all the rest.

I just happy as hell there was video and that the owner of it demanded it be released or we'd never know any of this.
Again, the security and admin of YVR needs to be taken to task over this.

Feel free to tell us how the RCMP acted in a more "American" way now, as opposed to, say, the actions of Sergeant. Pepper.

    No answer, huh?
Since the election is comming, you've started the old association of Harper = Bush again. I'm not exactly sure how these VPD officers are "just like US police" but I'm sure that in you're little mind, that's because of Harper.. or Bush.
