Woman with prosthetic leg attacked over parking space

They should add, 'Gay' to the description of the two guys. My Gaydar redlined when I saw the photo.

That could have two menaings. I picture the poor old bird being brained by a metal prostehtic.

The headline describes what happened fairly well, but the first sentence couldn't be more ambiguous:

"Vancouver police are looking for two men who allegedly attacked a woman with a prosthetic leg during a dispute over a parking spot for people with disabilities."

That made me picture both parties being disabled, and one of the two men removing his prosthetic leg to use as a weapon.

What a couple of pathetic little wimps. Parking in disabled zones is bad enough but how gutless and stupid can you be not to simply own up to such an obvious crime.
This lack of honor and pride is behind most of the crime that we see these days and I hope these little bastards are caught and get their car impounded. More likely they'll get a stern talk and big hug, if their even caught.

Wow...that first little paragraph confused the fuck out of me. I know what was meant but still, my mind pictured what faile wrote.

Serves you right for owning a car. You could carry you're soy milk and granola home on a bicycle like the rest of those smelly, dope smoking hippies.

I remember reading a fictional novel that has a humorous side story about a terrorist group that would stake out handicap spots, and if they noted that there were too many handicap spots, the would do things like park derelict vehicles in them, blow them, etc.

Although, I don't seriously support the idea, I can still relate.

She baited and goaded them and is shocked they were upset and assaulted her? They were no saints but she should have the sense to know she is not a cop.

She didn't do anything wrong. Why are you blaming the victim?

That makes it ok for two men to attack a woman?

She knew she was getting into a confrontation. So why should she be shocked when they don't take to her version of reality? I'm not saying what they have done is fine, they are scumbags to be sure, but she did have the option to tell the store manager or call the authorities and she could have just snapped a few pics with her cellphone and emailed that in if she had one. She didn't, she decided to go and confront two young men who are total strangers with the intent of hostility. That is inherently dangerous and frankly she doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Aside:
There was a previous thread about someone else (A MAN i recall, if that makes a difference ) who was also standing up for what was right and they also got assaulted. You were on the other side of that argument.

I can't recall the exact details but it started just as innocent and ended worst.

We agree on this one so I'm happy with that but I'll still chalk this down as (sheesh..) women,

They parked in a disabled zone.
Unless they had a disables sticker, they knew that was wrong.
Why didn't they just suck up their mistake like men and move on?
