    GM shares break crucial $10 mark

    NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of General Motors have closed below $10 for the first time since Dwight Eisenhower was president of the United States.

    The shares have ended the day at $9.98, down 15.1 percent, their lowest since Sept. 13, 1954.

    Detroit-based General Motors Corp. is suffering from lagging sales and concerns over its cash position.

    The board of directors at GM are a bunch of morons. They failed to listen to analysts who predicted the sharp rise in gas prices, then they failed to react to the future change in the market by offering the same old same old gas guzzlers. Now they're trying to turn the boat to a different direction in the middle of a storm.
