The airport in Kelowna, B.C., will be the first in Canada to test a new type of passenger scanner that creates a three-dimensional virtually nude image of people.

At least you can decline at present. If these machines come into a required phase, I guess my days of air travel are over.
Wouldn't this be an invasion of privacy?

Just one question. Can you get this scanner in a pair of sun glasses? :D

Privacy Privacy Privacy, is that all people are thinking of? I much prefer this than some whack job terrorist getting on the plane and carying out their intent.

I never thought of that 8O . I guess this means I'll have to pull the sock out before I go through or I might get mistaken for a terrorist.

I dunno though... Will this replace the stripsearch, or any random search?

I don't think the airport officers will blink anymore after seeing 100 bodies... Just like a gyneacologist or even a nurse doesn't...
