Negotiations to keep the Hockey Night in Canada theme song have collapsed, meaning the CBC program is now in search of another anthem.

    I think the composer is playing a game, and she's going to lose. Aside from the CBC who is going to pay her $500 to play this song? They even offered her a six figure sum and she refused. Enjoy your song lady.

    If this falls through due to which ever side, another part of Canadian tradition goes down the drain. Greed wins. This theme is known around the world.
