According to police it was a 70km gust of wind that blew him over the line and dont believe he was doing anything crazy on his bike. I am sure, as riders know, that some of the strong gusts will push you. When its your time its your time...A quote from him to his Mom was 'i can die in a plane, I can die in a car, I can die walking out onto the street, I dont want to live in fear....'
Although tragic, he was living his life to his fullest.
