TORONTO - A planned procession of nearly 100 cars and trucks, scheduled to travel from Trenton, Ont., to Toronto this weekend to commemorate the lives of Canadian soldiers killed in Afghanistan, has some military families seeing red.
yes i agree,, the red friday thing is important.. It helps people belong to a bigger unity.. and it expresses their love for people that have served abroud...Military woman that have children that lose their loved one must need this support here....i belong to the legion and we wear a red shirt on fridays to support those who have been lost with tragety..........thank you.
I think that it was wrong for the group to use the Red Friday's name on their site without permission, and to use the names of the fallen soldiers without permission. On the same note, they took down the name from the Website, and offered to remove any name from the car, and the cause is importent enough that those people who were angry should stash their anger away in the name of said good couse.
