    A Canadian government report is leaked, detailing more than 100 government actions related to Martin since the woman's 2006 arrest. The report reveals that government officials have met with Martin several times and called her repeatedly, as well as contacting Mexican authorities in regard to her case. Martin, her family, friends and the Opposition have all previously blasted the government for inaction on the case.

    For a crook she sure is making a lot of demands. It's interesting that it says she was fired in 2001, yet wasn't arrested until 2006. Did she continue to reside and work in Mexico illegally, during this entire time? Mexican officials state that she didn't have a work visa yet worked there.

    This broad is definitely no rocket scientist.

    I know that this comment may fly in the face of the media's upcoming beatification of blessed Brenda but;

    Maybe she really is guilty?

    Lisa Laflamme has gone out of her way to make Canadians think she's innocent.

    I remember when this story first broke. Poor dear Brenda was apprehended when she voluntarily went in to answer some questions about her former boss at the request of Mexican police. According to her it was then that they told her she being charged and was thrown in jail.

    Now it comes out that her story about how she was arrested was total bull sh... . In fact the Mexican authorities apprehended her after posing as a business man who was looking for a caterer for a function.

    Add to that the fact that after she was fired she took nearly half of the money that she received from the guy who just ran her ass off and invested it in his company. Now why is that Brenda, out of god knows how many people who were ripped off by this guy, was able to get her investment back?

    This woman is guilty. Even if she wasn't guilty of a crime, which I think she is, she would be guilty of complete and utter stupidity. Why is it that many facts pertaining to the case haven't been cover by the media? And the ones that have been covered have been for the most part inaccurate?

    Poor Brenda my ass. This woman was in the wrong right from the time she went down there to work with out a visa. She got involved with some shady people and got caught. Now she thinks she can tun on the tear factory and everyone will come running feeling sorry for her. Well I guess it worked for the Canadian press but I don't buy her BS story.

    if it was just a work visa issue, they'd have just booted her ass out, or ignored it all together. I've said it before and I'll say it again, watch when the cameras are filming her bouts of 'hysterics'. She glances around with nary a tear, and then when she sees the camera is on her, on come the waterworks and the acting job. This is one manipulative and shady bitch it seems.

    She complained about her being part of a political "dog and pony show" by the conservatives....I can just imagine how big that show will become in the next few months.

    What's the most frustrating isn't that the Canadian public are buying, their not being told the other side.
    It's simply not being told in an honest way.

    One of the bloggers had it pegged that Canadians could never be guilty of crimes in foreign lands because we're so nice and polite.
