A postal worker is credited with saving an infant's life by catching the one-year-old after she fell out of a second-storey window in Albany, N.Y.

And I wonder what first-class postage on a baby would be?

    Omg, people never learn...

DON'T EVER PUT A BABY BED (OR ANY BED YOU PUT AN INFANT ON) UNDER A WINDOW.

Moron mom... I guess she pulled that bed away from there?

I am a father of two. My youngest is 19 months. If I had a two-story house, my windows would either be nailed shut or modified so that there would be no way for it to open enough for the head or torso of a child to fit through. It makes me sick every time I hear about a child being hurt or killed due to the lack of intelligence or lack of attentiveness of the parent.

Actually happened to my mum when she was just a bit older but it was a policeman that caught her, not a mail carrier. She was playing hide and seek and, hiding under the kitchen table, leaned against a latched, floor level window, when suddenly the latch gave way.
