RCMP are searching Conservative party headquarters in Ottawa on Tuesday at the request of Elections Canada.

    It was a RAID!!!! two mounties went inside and 12 Liberal asshole minded reporters were standing outside for the photo op!

    doesn't surprise me that the reporters would do that , mean they have nothing better to do and nothing at all positive to say about dion so why not try and cook up a story about this .

    You two are pathetic. If the ads were the same, then they were party ads, not candidate ads. If they were party ads, then they get paid for out of party money, on which there is a limit placed. If they broke that limit, that's a problem. Whining and complaining about reporters being at the scene of the investigation doesn't change that.

    It was elections commissioner William Corbett, who was installed under Harper in 2006, that authorized this raid.

    honest your coments never seem to end , wonder did elections canada actually charge them with anything ? it seems like they were trying to make the party look bad well simply going there to get some papers they may or may not even need .

    i think the liberals and media are still bitter that they lost the last election and that the conservatives won .
    there was nothing illegal with these ads , they are kidding us if they think there was . elections canada must have better things to do than harass political parties
