Now I know why France lists organizations like Greenpeace as terrorists...

The gall of the Coast Guard and RCMP to treat these fine citizens as terrorists. All they do is ram fishing and sealing boats, try to remove the livelihood of Canadian fishing villages, smear Canadas reputation in the court of world opinion, and denigrate dead sealers by comparing them to Apes. And for this Canada has forced them to, horrors, go to Cape Breton. Oh the humanity....

The people on the ship apparently declared their own actions as an "act of war", so why are they surprised they were removed at gunpoint?

I understand the issue they're trying to raise, but they're doing it in a totally inappropriate manner.
