"If it was such an indecent proposal, how are you in good conscience running for that particular party?"

This happened 3 years ago but they just thought about that now, and they need some Proffessor to tell us that??

Dona Cadman is a little odd.

But obviously it helps the CPC if they see the wife still running as one of our candidates.

She may have been a shoe in in this riding but right now, she's looking more and more like a Liberal in blue. The fact that she sat on all of this for 3 years makes me believe she'll just cross sides as soon as she's elected.

I can't see if she actually got the nomination or their still just waffling.
It would look like crap if they took it away but I'd definately question voting unconditionally for her.

not really sure if helps the cpc , it would be better if she just joined the liberals than cpc get the benefit of the doubt and people will wonder if she made the whole thing up to make cpc look bad and liberals look good.

and she is a potential campaign liability as well , mean we don't know what she or her daugther will say next . or if there saying it intentionally to make party look bad.

It's probably not a bad idea that she goes somewhere else. This woman has Gurmant Grewal-levels of potential controversy all over her and she appears to have a serious problem with knowing when to keep her mouth shut around Liberal-biased reporters (which is essentially almost all of them). I'm getting genuinely sick and tired of the idiot eruptions that keep happening around BC Tories. These episodes just feed the furnace for the Liberals and their "objective journalist" (har!) toadies in the media.

agree she does remind me of the grewal incident , its all very odd when stuff like this happens to the cpc . to be honest i'm really not sure she could get elected there after all this and riding allready had an ndp mp . the thing is the conservatives there are not likely going to bother helping her if she sticks to this story and it hurts the cpc's chances in next election. there basiclly going to blame her for the whole problem in the first place.

This is my riding and I'm considering voting NDP is she runs as a CPC candidate. If I votes for a CPC candidate and she crossed the floor, I'd be very pissed off.

This probably puts me in contradiction with the things I said about Emerson but so be it.

Not to mention that she'd probably end up as just another future floor-crosser in the whack-job Garth Turner style if she got elected anyway. The ironic thing about all this is that the Cadman's got involved in politics as a response to their son being murdered by street thugs and they wanted to do something about the levels of violence that the Liberal-centric justice system was deliberately encouraging. I'd give Chuck his props for being pissed off about the low-class way the local Conservative riding association allowed the Sikh mafia to have him booted out as the Conservative candidate in order to place one of their own. But for him to then go and help prop up a Liberal government that for 12 years had made life easier for criminals and murderers was just astounding. Politics must do some really strange things to people when they turn their backs on everything they say they believe in and end up allying themselves to a malice-filled, hateful, and devious enemy like the federal Liberals.

A flood of "racial voting" won the candidate election, fair & square, and to change the rules would have looked like crap and played into the media's hands. "CPC disqualifies legally voted visable minority candidate for a white guy" would have been the headline.
If Cadman wanted the party to break it's own rules then maybe we all believe he's more than he was.

I can't imagine she will last very long as CPC candidate. She has embarrassed the party and the leader. Not something that Harper is likely to tolerate.

i can't believe it has been allowed to drag on this long , mean how can you be a cpc candidate and accuse people so high up in the party of stuff you can't even prove . her allegations made no sense and every insurance expert has said such a policy is impossible to get for the terminally ill .
she has to make up her mind on what she is planning to do , as she has made this mess in the first place.

Its bizzare to say the least. Kind of hard to prove anything as well anyways since Cadman has passed. I dont think her and an authors words are enough too convict Harper of what they're implying without tangible evidence, here say wont suffice I would hope.

Some moonbats seem to disagree though.

Interesting how the right minded think. Hell, you can't even lay the blame where it belongs. Poor Mrs. Cadman. Y'all should be very proud of yourselves.
