why should the US lead the way? I think Canada has for more arctic land mass than the US up there...
Well they said Canada and the US, but we alone couldn't do it unless we get a larger force up there. That plus the US not recognizing our claim to the North West passage (which is ours) makes it a pain in the ass if we can't control our own area.
Relax----heavy ice has returned to call off this war indefinitely.
