Shocking police station video of an argumentative woman who ended up unconscious in a pool of her own blood with two black eyes, a broken nose and broken teeth did not lead to criminal charges against the cop after officials claimed the woman "fell over.

The more that video evidence becomes prevalent in society the more and more we see this type of brutality be police. The viral video sites have loads and loads of skateboarders getting abused by cops. Thats disturbing enough.

Then there is the case of the paralyzed man getting dumped on the floor just a few weeks ago.

The truly disturbing ones are ones like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMd_NCME ... re=related where a man is essentially murdered on tape by police that later lie to cover their ass. Had this video not been available its likely the cops story would have progressed to an even worse lie.

    Disturbing video warning.

There was definetly a fuck up on procedure here. Also even if the woman was trying to leave it should not take as much force as this officer was using here.

This could be an arguement for more video surviellance in society, as it puts the police under the eye as well as the citizen.

Not much different than all the wives and girlfriends who end up in the Er because they "walked into a door".

A friend of mine was shot twice by an RCMP in a holding cell in self defense....once in the stomach and once in the head. Think he went through 3 trials before finally getting house arrest.

That would be bass-ackwards. Society should be calling for more surveillance of public servants.

How does the officer expect to be believed anyway? There will always be that reasonable doubt to his story as he voluntarily shut off the camera. It would seem reasonable that most police officers would WANT the camera on with a prick arrested party such that when they go apeshit, they've got evidence to back up whatever it took to subdue the arrested party.

If I had to guess, I think this cop planned to give her a quick knuckle sandwich to shut her up.
