Toxic pollution from the tarsands has created what amounts to a slow motion oil spill in the region's river systems, and could be worse than the Exxon Valdez oil spill. First Nations living downstream are already seeing deformed pickerel and walleye in

"Game animals are being found covered with tumours and mutations.
In humans, unusual cancers and autoimmune diseases have been cropping up in the community of Fort Chipewyan."
    Lovely.

your article lost me right about here.
I there's sort of a conspiracy of silence, especially on the part of the federal government, with regards to the tar sands," Price said,

Foil up people.Robairs breaking out a conspiracy way worse then getting rid of the wheat board.

I feel that we must take a closer look at what is happening in the Tar Sands. We don't need another Tar Ponds and decades of people complaining for unheard help! They were telling the truth though the Government didn't want to listen or do anything? How many suffered and died needlessly?

How many times does this have to happen? OR.. is the need for oil more important? Are we so hard up that people are expendable, or maybe it's who will be first effected ??

Your allusion to the Tar Ponds wrt to tar sands, tells me everything I need to know about your level of knowledge on the subject.

your article lost me right about here.My article??? I didn't write it, just read it. The tumor covered game animals grossed me out. Also the mutated fish... wonder what kind of numbers they are talking about?

Yea, that's funny. I commented on the mutated wildlife, not the conspiracy bit.

We can talk wheat board any day. I get relayed a play by play of most of the meetings...

Right off the priority of CO2 emissions and the effects of GW made my BS meter go off..........then

In 2006, The World Wildlife Fund Canada's warned that the expansion of the industry was threatening Canadian freshwater reserves.

WWF???? Oh yeah, shrinking asian mountain glaciers threatening the water source for millions----except the glaciers were growing.

Then there was all the drowning Polar Bears........

After a bit the source---determines the veracity of such propaganda...

Nobody take GISS seriously anymore either.

I feel that your "illusion" is off just a tad. Health records began before you were born. 1950s

    Try again
