A woman wakes up with a man's penis between her legs. She doesn't know him. He doesn't know her. They part in bewilderment. She goes to hospital for examination – painful penetration had occurred – and then to police with a complaint.

If this was the first, not fifth, time this man had done this perhaps I could be convinced. As it is, he knows he has this problem, and should have taken steps to make sure that it did not occur on this occasion. Being drunk is not an excuse for hitting someone with your car, getting drunk and putting yourself in this state isn't an excuse either. This man is a threat, he knows it, he ignores it. If this isn't a legitimate mental illness, he belongs in jail for knowingly allowing himself to get into a situation where he might do what he did.

I agree if they can correct this problem with medication he should be required to take it. Whether it is criminal or not it is a public safety issue, it isnt like they are asking the guy to be castrated they just want his sleep regulated so it wont happen in the future.
