If you recall, back in the 90's they both published reports that the mountain Glaciers of the Himilayas, Pamir and hundu Kush were disappearing and threatening the water supplies of millions. Then, whoops, a team of european glacialogists, who had not been compromised, published their findings/observations that those asian mountain glaciers were advancing/growing rapidly. WWF and NG had to print retractions and report the new information, which they both promptly declared would threaten the water supplies of millions.
What these clowns fear is not the decline/extinction of Polar bears but that the discovery of new petroleum reserves will threaten THEIR existance as fear mongers.
