Taliban Jack just won't quit will he! suddenly he is a military expert as well as an economist. To think this guy collects a paycheck from Canadian citizens is disgusting.

"I'm saying it's time not only for Canada to pull out, but for NATO itself to realize this is not a military mission that's going to succeed," he said. "NATO should pass responsibilities to the UN, an organization constructed to deal with bringing an end to regional conflicts like this."

OMG!! I would only follow this guy out of morbid curiousity! Jack, buddy, it already IS a UN mandated mission who passed the responsibility to NATO!! Thank god you only look like Lenin cause daily, DAILY! you prove that you don't have the common sense god gave a goat

NDP Leader Jack Layton says he'll try to convince Stephane Dion tonight to support a non-military approach to Afghanistan, before the Liberal leader meets with Prime Minister Stephen Harper Tuesday.

A great idea there TJ. How about instead of soldiers we send a peace corps made up entirely of the NDP leadership. I'm sure the Taliban would be more than happy to have you build roads and dig wells for them.

This would be a win win situation for both sides, the NDP get's a major job creation program with a guarenteed iron rice bowl and the taliban gets a large supply of incredibly stupid, free labour.

As for the rest of Canada we'd win to.

No more Jack Layton making asinine statements about things he knows nothing about.

To bad Layton’s logic doesn’t apply to his own party. Your never going to form a government so why don’t you just up.

The NDP membership better dress him up like a clown or replace him because it looks like he's trying to steal votes from the Rhino party now.

Let's send Layton and his MPs to Afghanistan to convince the locals to stop killing each other.

And Olivia Chow could plant rose bushes in the opium fields. They could play beetles music and buy everyone in Afghanistan a coke *sniffs and wipes tear away from his eye* ... man it would be beautiful.
