I think they're fairly effective. I saw them a while ago, there was a link to the site somewhere so I checked it out.
I can't watch the oil one though, that was just a little too much for me...

The guy falling off the scaffolding is pretty intense and really well done...

Holy shit. I hadn't seen any of those before. The oil and scaffolding ones were especially good because it's easier to think of them as real because in the others the people talk after they're clearly dead or severely maimed.

TQK, you saw these on TV? What channel?

these have been showing for at least a couple months. i like em. more realistic than any campy "you shouldnt..." campaign. reminds me of the one i saw as a kid about playing chicken with trains! Granted i didnt even know people did that, it still scared me.

Sorry, I meant that I had seen them on the website that they were made for. Yet to see 'em on the TV, not sure I'd like to see 'em all on TV, although they definitely get the point across, and would scare people in those trades into looking into their safety protocols, which is never a bad thing.
I still can't bring myself to watch the boiling water one again, still having nightmares about it...

    And Scape, that was awesome!
