Ontario man who abused daughter online to be sentenced

Men like this don't deserve children.I am glad this man got caught for what he did to his daughter.

As for the mother's statement "I rather hear my husband is dead,then know of the abuse"....What do you say to that?

This mother she deal with the fact that her daughter was sexually abused,instead of being in denial about it.

This child needs a mother who is going to be there for her,not some wishy washy woman who is going to pretend this hasn't happened.

The child needs therapy,there is no doubt about that.

But it seems like her mom can benefit from therapy as well.

It's not the Flinstone era anymore,so this mother has to be strong,and be there for her daughter.

seems like the mother was happy to bury her head in the sand, from this statement to media.

I don't think that she abandoned her daughter... I think that she was making a point that not only has her child been abused, but that it was by her own father. While if the man were dead, it would be sad, they would be able to keep good memories, but as it is, he remains walking the face of the same earth they do.

He is evil, vile and disgusting. I hope he knows exactly what it is like to be someones biatch now, and by the time he gets out, may he never again make a sound when passing gas! 5 years should be 50!

The good part is, inmates don't like the fact of touching (small) children, especially not your own. I hope he will be beaten up so bad by someone who is serving a life-sentence anyway, he doesn't live to see the daylight outside again.

God help us all. What has happened to this so called wonderful modern, advanced and great society.

When a man has gone that far to expose this on the internet, one can well imagine how much has been going on since that child was a baby and with even other children.

This is evil at its all time lowest of the low.

Five years in prison!!! Shame, shame on our government. That young girl and mom will need not only therapy, but perhaps have to start live over somewhere. Think people don't know who it is in their own town.

I remember as a little girl always knowing the whispers of the girls who had been abused. We were so little, everyone always thought it was a random raping or something. But now as an adult and with much knowledge I can see those sunken listless eyes in sockets of little girls (whome by the way are many times very skinny) and know they are not just being beaten. It destroys part of their little souls, as well as body and mind.

That people recover and can lead good lives is true, but there is just no enough horror or concept of the damage to children of incest or sexual abuse.

A father raping his own child has to be the worst betrayal of all time.

Yet if men hacked up a body or went and beat up someone defenseless people have more outrage.

Actually, I see people more sympathetic only if they see someone bleeding, having a heart attack or in an accident. If we could physically see the damage done to these little ones, we would all be horrified and much more severe action would be taken against that father. I know the inmates think this is horrible too, I guess that justice gets served, but really does it. More crime and harm begets more crime and harm.

I wish to God that He would come down and deal with these types of people that they would learn and never harm again. Something in their beings has been "cut out" to behave in such heinious fashion.

God Bless that family and all like them. These type of men (who were all once someones baby and child) wake up and stop hurting your children.

The problem word here is to be sentenced..this guy should be hung and carved up and salt poured in the wounds.. but he will do a few weeks and then get out to do it again...makes one puke dont it?

That's how I understood it as well.



With any luck, his fellow inmates see to it that his sentence is irrelevant.
They may well "take care of him" long before he hits the end of it.

This sick frack needs to be killed. Plain and simple.
