As my way of channeling Don Cherry all I can say is, "please, take back home as many Russian players as possible".

The NHL is full of crappy overpaid players why do they want them? This is a ship waiting to sink , the NHL should shrink to about 12 teams to raise the caliber, which of course will never happen.

I think it's excellent in almost every aspekt. Our young talents stay put a couple of years longer and we get two bidders for our players.

Now this is a great thing. Kompetition from Russia kan only mean the NHL will have to get off it's ass and stop horsing around. Kill the struggling teams, beef up existing markets till their healthy and just maybe, just maybe... we could have a Hockey World Series!!! Oh shit that would be kool!

An ACTUAL world series. You could really help the health of hockey with some across the pond kompetition.

It would be a cool thing. We'd have to play by european standards here with the larger rinks and all and visa versa. Not very likely, however. Don't think that's something the NHL fatcats would want. You'd have to play a lot less games per season than you do in the NHL for example.
