Most of that article is BS, with the exception of this - "Environmental activists were enraged".

I saw that audience on the news last night. It was skinny college kids, who you'd have to wonder where they got the scratch to be in Bali in the first place. Baird was being set up for a greenpeace style media event, but he was too smart for them.

Go John, my new Canadian hero.

Where? Easy! The Suzuki Foundation.......Live Earth receipts....lots of swag there........

Ban Ki Moon, UNSG, was quoted as saying perhaps 40% reduction was too ambitious----

translation: This thing is coming apart at the seams---maybe we can salvage the UN for the next scam.

Today, the catastrophe is looking large on the horizon,” said Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, president of the Maldives. “Sea-level data over the past decade confirms our worst fears. Without immediate action, the long-term habitation of our tiny islands is in serious doubt.”

This hockey puck doesn't realize the whole world is aware that the tidal guages in the Maldives indicate a lowering of sea level there.....meanwhile the IPCC's latest estimate is a 7cm rise in the next century............

Actually it now appears the eurocrats who have so smoothly usurped the sovereignty of Europe now are seeing their little plot to rule the world collapsing......no wonder they are a little pissy.

Even the Pope has denounced them now.
