What now it's open season in the USA on illegals.

This man shot an person in the back as they were running away, no threat to him, and not even his house.

Now they have support groups for this guy?

Should this man be charged or set free?

This guy should go to jail for first degree murder. He was itching to kill someone and he intervened in something that didn't affect him directly. I'm all for protecting yourself, but like the dispatcher said, no ones property is worth killing over. Stupid old man.

The season runs from Sept. 1 to May 31. Be sure to get your tags before you head out.

It's Texas. He'll be charged, tried, and unanimously acquitted by a jury of his peers.

By this measure then the police should not interfere with burglars or rapists or etc. unless it affects them directly.

He did not know at the time of the shooting that they were illegal.

To bad a dispatcher is NOT a police officer but just another fellow citizen they have no authority to tell you what to do only to suggest and help guide you till the Police, Medics, Fire dept. show up. Not sure if this can fall under the law they state in the artical do to the fact it was not his house but his neighbors house that was broken into.

But look at it this way RUEZ, no ones property your thinking of stealing is worth dieing over. Two stupid criminals no longer able to rob people of the things they worked for.

and if they presented themselves a threat to him, well then im not sure he did the wrong thing..

I'm all for defending my own home.

But if someone is breaking into my neighbors home, I will call the police.

This could have turned out even more tragic. What if Mr. Horn went over to stop the intruders and the actual home owner thought he was a burgler and shot him.

Let the Police deal with it, they are the professionals. (most of the time)

Or maybe he was wanting to protect a neighbor that he knew was not to well off and that they had scraped and saved to obtain the few things they did have.
