1200 years ago the Vikings found Greenland to actually be green and not covered in ice.

Maybe those long ships emitted massive amounts of CO2 and caused global warming then too eh?

I'd ask Saint Al Gore how historical evidence of global warming cycles befs up his own ersatz-science.

    ROTFL Ignorance is bliss.

So how did they get a 100,000 year climate history from ice core samples if there was no ice there 1200 years ago?

Exactly. Gore is a liar and the ice core samples are only from 1200 years ago.

They made it up, obviously. And badly, at that, because they put in that pesky 800 year delay between temp and CO2. One wonders why they would make something up and then put a flaw in it, but there you go.

Greenland's weather and composition has attracted a lot of attention due to the IPCC propaganda industry's focus.

Valid science has indicated that Greenland is actually gaining mass and for good and proper reason. Weather stations have existed on Greenland for over a century and currently Greenland's warmest year was found to be 1941.

Seabed sediments taken from the northern Denmark straits indicate that for all practical purposes Greenland has always been had an Ice Sheet even during past, much warmer interglacial periods.

Drill holes have found that in southern Greenland during past interglacial periods a boreal/taiga forest covered southern Greenland.

The "study" referred to in the article is obviously just another product of the IPCC propaganda machine.

Konrad Steffen, is referred to as a "top climate" scientist much like Michael Mann and Hansen. He has as much credibility.

Interesting link that. It is obvious the conclusions were more to attain more funding, than establish verifiable science.

Once again conclusions are drawn on assumptions such as Co2 forcing rather than CO2 being a result/symptom. One thing is certain that SUV's had no role in that climate so far in the past.

It's interesting because the article gives one side, while the videos give another.

It's a bios one sided look at the issue and allows the reader to walk away thinking. (for once)

Nice news, teaches people to think a bit. While true, ice loss from Greenland is at an elevated level, what they don't tell anyone is that ice formation is also at an elevated level.

That's right, the ice sheets are getting bigger, and they are 'losing' more ice than ever because the sheets are growing.

Why can someone get away with reporting such highly misleading news?

Oh dear....we must put a stop to ice fishing, soon there will be none left.

Did I say left.....that must be the reason for the biased report.

Well....if you took that to the Nth degree, squared the result, divided by infinity, and added a pinch of salt.......
