Troops advance on Taliban-held town, warn militants to lay down weapons

KABUL, Afghanistan - Afghan and British troops are advancing on a Taliban-held town in southern Afghanistan, although a militant commander said Sunday that more fighters were pouring into the area to fend off the pending offensive.
