It's always a shame to see good Canadian boys and gals go like this. Not because they gave their lives, that is noble. But because high quality human beings like that don't come around alot. They will be missed.

Hey you know, both of these soldiers were from Valcatier QC !!! RIP is right.

I would like to hear from Riden on this one.

Quebec is fighting that fight along with many other Canadians. Their ass is on the line here. Like I said before, if I don't have anything nice to say, maybe it's best not to say anything !!!

I agree. Soldiers from QC are fighting and dying the same as any other province but somehow we stil hear some very vicous attacks directed at the entire province.

Their silence when soldiers from there are killed speaks volumes.

Well I have to say that it has a little more impact in the media in QC. Their hometown boys !!!

Still, many Canadians forget that Quebec is fighting their fight, and that's what I wanted to illustrate. Yes, of course, many hate those fucking frenchmen, but they are willing to go to fight for your ass !!!

Sorry for the poor choice of words, still, it has to be recognized. And Derb, you rock dude. I don't care about politics on this one. These Quebec soldiers should be recognized in a fair matter.

My condolences to their family. They gave their lives for us, and there is nothing nobler.

Why are you singling me out for this one? Is this some leftover from the bikers thread or is this something new?

I'm sorry Canada lost 2 more soldiers. We recently lost a reservist from my local regiment (Master Cpl. Colin Bason) and that definately struck home also.

Are you expecting us to wring our hands and second guess the mission upon every death?
That's political bullshit and you know it.

No, actually, I am glad you replied.

Nothing personal here, but since the very beginning you seemed to be so against Quebec. I only wanted to show you that no matter what, Quebec was right up there with Canadians.

Now, (like I said before) does Quebec politics suck? Heck yea it does suck.

But when it comes to military, some of our boys can stand up to it. Valcartier boys can go and fight the war, along with some Canadian soldiers.

It has nothing to do with the Biker thread, although, we do not agree on some points. Still, I want you to recognize that Quebec is doing it's part for our FINE CANADIAN MILITARY !

As a westerner, I've never liked the dominance the east has over the west, but the solidarity and camaraderie of the country, the forces and the job at hand have always taken presidency. I do fear that the separatist elements in Quebec will hold the blood of their own above the blood of other Canadians, but as long as we stand united and strong, there are none who can defeat us.

    Actually, that's a very good point :D

But what you do not understand is that Quebec is not entirely made of separatists.

There are some Federalist there too....... some in the Canadian Military also willing to fight for Canada PDT_Armataz_01_34

And as long as we stand UNITED, that's right !!! That is what I have been trying to say all along.
