A proposed dam in Washington state could flood up to 7,200 hectares of land on B.C.'s side of the Canada-U.S. border, threatening species in one of Canada's most ecologically diverse areas.
Hmm, I wouldn't be too worried about this dam being built. It is nearly impossible to get one built now with the US environmental regulations. Though I wonder if there isn't another spot down stream that would be just as good?
B.C. Environment Minister Barry Penner is so worried, he fired off a letter yesterday to his Washington state counterpart
He should have called Robert Kennedy instead.
