Vets' families 'disgusted' by feds

This is sickening. The government will spend millions on rehabilitating murderers and pedophiles each year, but won't look after our vets.

Speaking as a Veteran i can tell you that when i served during in the Navy at the higpoint of the Liberal years with Jean Chretien pilots weere always worried about their next flight on the helicoptrs since they all knw that most of the helicopters were older than they were. And never knw if they were going to drop out of the sky

And you still don’t understand how to construct a civil response. Most disappointing but not surprising.

Nor can you explain that if liberals are so right and Conservatives so wrong Liberals wont stand up and be counted with their votes where it matters, in the commons. And for the record Liberals if they were brining taxes down is that the reserves kept getting bigger. Explanation, EI premiums other charges and everything else the Liberals could charge for, they do charge for. Canadians were overtaxed by the Liberals and always have been, and if the Liberals were such the tax cutters you say they were then why did they blatantly lie when they said if elected the would eliminate the GST (that it repeal the law- not replace it with something else like Chretien later said)

Further you were the one who threw out an unsubstantiated accusation that this was because and I quote

I served both under a conservative government and a liberal government and the level of respect for our commitment to our duty is actually respected to conservatives because at least on some level they understand that there is a level of sacrifice that Liberals at least Liberals like yourself react with such hostility to people like myself, who can easily point to the indifference and outright disrespect for members of the armed forces who dedicate and sometimes give their lives for this country. Conservatives no matter how you may feel on social level( I suspect that your hate towards Cons had affected your judgment) to this day understand that a country like Canada doesn’t go on existing by happy circumstance. Country like Canada require a modern well equipped armed force to preserve their national interest, and if those two words disturb you so much - like many leftists in the west. Considering that the Liberals dropped the EI premium as well as dropping both personal & corporate taxes. They raised the tax bracket levels, eliminated the debt reduction surtax and raised the personal exemption.

Not only that each and every surplus they threw entirely at the debt thereby saving us more money next year.

Its not limited to just Canada though. In the US there was the issue of the VA hospital deficiencies and recently I read a story about how an appalling number of vets ending up homeless.
