The Downtown Eastside, the poorest neighbourhood in Canada, has long been a time-bomb this city has never bothered to defuse. Now it's about to explode on the international stage.

    This is going to be good.
    The Vancouver East side has been a governmt sponsored slum for far too long.

    If it gets the government to do something to really help the people on the East side, I'm all for it.

    well i'm unsure what affect if any this will have on vancouvers image as most canadians allready know whats going on there .

    and not sure how many americans or worldwide viewers will actually ever see this story , and what tv network is he doing it for anyways ? if any
