The minority Conservative government is facing the second of three major tests for its fall legislative agenda Monday, but there's little prospect of anything but clear sailing for the Tory ship of state.

    What a load of crap.

    The amendment states the following:

    Prime Minister Stephen Harper's Tories are to blame for failing to live up to Canada's Kyoto targets;
    The previous Liberal government was on track to meet those targets;

    Sure.. like anybody but Derby is going to believe that.

    Zipperfish might.....he believes in Al Gore, worships Suzuki, thinks CO2 is radioactive and that the Polar Bears are melting.

    However it is a different set of clowns who have a vote in the Commons.

    test ? liberal amendments which were highly unlikely to pass anyways ,

    looks like the opposition parties were the ones being tested this throne speech to see if they wanted to force an election which they didn't and this whole thing hasn't made dion look mich better either.

    Some political wag suggested some of the NDP vote for this so Dion would be forced to vote down his own amendments.

    Does anybody know how Garth Turner voted on this? He was all for an election and all his hollow rhetoric of being a honest, free thinking maveric should have made him vote against the CPC.
