Following the release of Dune: Part Two this year, director Denis Villeneuve and Legendary Pictures have confirmed that Dune 3 is in the works.

    I wonder if it will be a continuation of "Children of Dune" and/or "Heretics of Dune"

    IIRC correctly, it's going to mainly be based on Dune Messiah.

    Much like the miniseries then.

    Children then Messiah.

    They introduced Lady Fenring who plays a part in the later book 'Paul of Dune'. That should be interesting too in they bring in Count Fenring and the child of Count/Lady Fenring. :twisted:
