Funny article as some of the twitter comments made in response are quoted in it.

The company not only made the "stolen lands" comment about Canada but also about the USA. Companies should stay out of politics and focus on what they do.

I've never bought Ben & Jerry ice cream. Is it good?

Ya, they make some great icecream. This isn't the ist time they have gotten into trouble with taboos. They got expelled from Occupied Palestinian Territory and still supporting Russia's war on Ukraine.

Ben & Jerry's has made similar political comments in the past about gay marriage (they support it), racism, and other progressive issues, so this is no different in my books. They regularly call out bigots on their FB page, or they used to.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with a corporation showing some decency and showing some corporate social responsiblity. They're free to talk about whatever they want, and if it alienates some customers, then oh well.

I've had Ben & Jerry's a few times, and it's similar to Haagen Daaz in texture, but I find it sweeter and filled with more candy/chocolate bits than Haagen Daaz is. Overall, it's quite good, but it's also expensive and somewhat sweeter than I like.

It's delicious. The wife brought some home when her store was clearing it out for $2.
Damned if I'm ever gonna pay $7.99
Although it might be the only thing left in your supermarket freezer section that can be legally labelld as ice cream...

You have choices besides Welfare Family and Peasant's Choice brands?

Yup. Nestle, Bryers, Fudgeicle brands, Hagen Das, Chapmans.

I can't find Chapman's around here but I've got better than that... maple taffy and maple sugar nuggets.

Sometimes I get the peanut butter/chocolate Hagen Das too.

Tried actual "Indian Ice Cream" at an Aboriginal Day Festival. Made out of soapberries & sugar.

    I prefer Ben & Jerry's any day.
