The Prime Minister's Office has announced that Canada will buy a U.S.-made missile defence system for Ukraine and will welcome U.S. President Joe Biden for a visit in March.

My biggest question is why didn't they announce that we're buying some for Ukraine AND the Canadian Armed Forces? Like WTF?!?

That is not the Canadian way.

Besides, we are very far out of range from Russian missiles.

I said the same thing in the other thread. Can’t we buy a system or two for ourselves? They’re a fraction of the cost of an F-35 and the CAF needs them just as badly.
