The 'truck tax' that has been a centrepiece of Conservative Party of Canada fundraising in recent days would be a perfect political prop but for one thing — it's not a government policy.

Seeing that truck still makes me laugh. I used to walk by it almost every day on the way to work. It was at the East entrance of the Leg, usually in the 'disabled only' parking spot. Or right beside that spot, where it said 'No Parking'.

Stopped at a 7-11 in Burnaby years ago to buy smokes, guy in a lifted truck caught the wife staring at his lifted 4x4.
Asked her if she was 'one of those Greenies' and she answered that we lived up North where we could actually use one of those.
Never seen a sneer turn into an ooooh face so fast!

It was so nice and shiny compared to the one I used for mountaintop radio work...
